2013
A HISTORY OF GIVING
The Foundation’s First Grant
In May 2013, the Foundation awarded its first grant: a $10,000 contribution to the Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival.
During the festival’s annual fundraising campaign, Barry issued a challenge for supporters to raise $10,000 in donations that the Foundation would match.
Orlando Fringe exceeded the fundraising target, and Barry honored the commitment with the Foundation’s contribution.

A Lifelong Appreciation for Performance and Creativity
Barry’s involvement in the arts extends beyond charitable giving.
He has served on the board of Orlando Shakespeare Theater and was an executive producer of the Grammy-nominated cast recording of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, featuring Daniel Radcliffe.
His support of theater and the arts reflects a broader belief that creativity is essential to strong, vibrant and connected communities.
